USBCHA 2004 National Cattledog Finals
Judge

We are pleased to introduce Mr. Quinn Nuffer, of Emmett, Idaho, as Judge for the 2004 National Cattledog Finals.

Mr. Nuffer will be visiting Green Forest, Arkansas with thirty-nine years of cattle ranching knowledge, beginning with “hands on” experience gained in cow camps across Idaho, culminating in being named as manager of the MacGregor Land and Livestock cow/calf operations, consisting of three ranches and two forest allotments, spanning 120,000 acres.  "It was a job," Mr. Nuffer says "made far easier by the constant use of good working Border Collies."

Mr. Nuffer is a member of the USBCHA, past member of the USBCHA Cattledog Committee and lifetime member of the ABCA.  In addition, Mr. Nuffer has served as a working team member for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 USBCHA National Cattle Dog Finals, helping to make each the individual successes they were.

Mr. Nuffer has competed in both cattledog and sheepdog trials for many years, consistently placing in the top percent of the field and winning his fair share.  Mr. Nuffer has also staged clinics, given private lessons and served as a judge for both sheepdog and cattledog trials.

Anyone who knows Mr. Nuffer will tell you he is an extremely capable cattle and working dog man… and those that know him personally will add that, even more importantly, he is respectable, honest and fair.
