| Open District Team |
In 1997 when I competed with my first trial dog "Frecks"in
Nursery, I noticed a lot of competition going on as to which district
would win the team award. It took a few years to get it together as
far as the sponsors but the result has created a cohesion of friendly
competition , additional camaraderie and I felt it seemed only natural
to award the 5 team member with sterling silver name plates on special
leather collars and a large wall plaque naming the winning District
and it's team members. This wall plaque is to be in custody with the
winning team captain until the next National Finals. This year as last
year the Willard's Eagle Butte Ranch from Sprague River ,Oregon will
be the sole sponsors of this award and are happy to do so. We hope
these team members will consider taking this team effects on to the
World competition and represent North America's finest. Ken Willard,
Eagle Butte Ranch www.naturallamb.com
